Clockwork : From Regatta Prep to Million-View Impact

Since Mary Ann Harvey and Andrew Lloyd took ownership of the Sydney 38 yacht Clockwork, Olliepop Studios has been a creative partner helping build their presence and share their story. We began by capturing the crew in action as they prepared for the South Australian Women’s Keelboat Regatta, with Andrew coaching from the sidelines.

From there, we helped establish a partnership with Orange Sky Australia, a charity close to the team’s heart, and guided the crew in documenting their own on-boat experiences through camera training. Our role extended to piecing together videos, managing post-production, and distributing content across social media.

When Clockwork entered the Rolex Sydney to Hobart, we joined the CYCA media team to capture yachts sailing up the Derwent River — including Clockwork itself — for the live YouTube broadcast. We’ve produced two standout race-voyage films that helped Clockwork achieve over a million views, blending crew-captured GoPro footage with event media assets.

From grassroots regatta prep to international race coverage, Olliepop Studios has supported Clockwork every step of the way, turning a yacht into a movement that inspires the sailing community.
