THE HIGH COUNTRY IS CALLING : FALLS CREEK GREEN SEASON
Wanting to prove what was possible with minimal planning, Olliepop Studios developed and pitched a summer campaign concept to the Falls Creek Chamber of Commerce - 8 bite-sized content pieces designed to bring traffic to ‘Falls Creek Central Reservations’, the central booking engine of the resort.
With a trio of local talent exploring the resort and its surrounds. The series showcased mountain biking, walking and hiking trails, hidden waterfalls and alpine swimming holes, along with the breathtaking moments of Mt McKay sunsets, evening walks, and sunrise views over the lake.
Although this campaign was not adopted due to other plans by chamber, it demonstrates our ability to quickly pull together talent, and deliver a premium multi-video package without breaking the bank for a community starved of summer content with recent bush-fires and road closures hampering tourism in recent years. The project highlights how we can help resorts and tourism bodies rebuild year-round visitation numbers of years gone by through combining a mixture of cinema, drone and iPhone content both inspiring and relatable.
